As an authorised partner of the National Computing Centre, Teknikally IT are able to help you achieve its IT Department Accreditation (ITDA).  This scheme is a unique business improvement programme with a certificate that will help you to align IT with business objectives. It is based on a standard developed by IT management and aimed at IT management.  It has been designed by the NCC’s member organisations.

The benefits of ITDA are that it:

 

• Delivers an independent appraisal of your systems and processes against good practice and other IT departments in similar organisations.
• Provides a program for business improvement to help you align IT to the business and ensure that appropriate governance is in place helping you to build on your strengths and eliminate any weaknesses.
• A certification scheme that can be used to validate the effectiveness of the IT function proving to its stakeholders that the IT Department is aligned to industry best practices.
• Ensures that security and continuity are not compromised by organisational change.

 

The assessment scheme that underpins the NCC ITDA is not a pass/fail audit. It is a unique business performance improvement programme which delivers a bespoke Action Plan, subsequent progress against which is reviewed annually. You set your own agenda of continuous business improvement and we monitor and help you stay focused on your customers' needs and improving your department.
